Tulip ‘Leo Visser’ (10 bulbs)

An excellent Triumph Tulip, Tulipa ‘Leo Visser’ is a stunning variety producing wonderful two-tone blooms of deep and pinkish-red with regular thin white margins.

‘Leo Visser’ tulips are likely to reach a height of approximately 45cm/18″, flowering throughout April and May.

These bulbs are perfect for beds and borders with bright, early season colour that makes them especially popular for pots and containers. This hybrid tulip will also produce exceptional cut flowers earning a place in the cut flower garden.

‘Leo Visser’ tulip bulbs should be planted 10cm/4″ deep and 10cm/4″ apart, growing in almost any soil, be it acidic, alkaline or neutral, so long as there is effective drainage. Try to plant in a position of full sun, in a place where tulips have not been grown in recent years, preferably protected from strong winds.

Remove flowers when they begin to fade and support them after planting with a top dressing of slow acting fertiliser, such as bone-meal, to assist the flowering.
