Please find below our general conditions of sale for transactions made on the gatesgardencentre.co.uk website.

All prices displayed are in Pounds Sterling.

Ordering

If you have items that you wish to purchase from us and you do not wish to use our shopping cart and online payment methods, please contact us by telephone or email to discuss the details and place your order.

Order Confirmation

Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email as receipt of your payment.

Product Images & Specifications

All product images used on this site are representative of goods on offer. Actual goods may not be exactly the same colour. Please note that while we have tried to accurately display the colours of products, the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor and may not be accurate.

The manufacturers reserve the right to change specifications of products without notice. We will endeavour to inform you of this, however, due to certain items being dispatched directly from the manufacturers, this may not always be possible.

Your statutory rights are not affected by any of our terms and conditions.

General Terms

All orders placed will be treated as an offer to purchase goods from us. We will only accept your offer and therefore enter into a contract with you once we have dispatched the goods to you and confirmed this by email.

We reserve the right to refuse or reject any offer to purchase at any time, although normally this would be if the product you have ordered is unavailable or withdrawn, we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment, or we have identified a pricing or product description error.

Competition Terms & Conditions

At Gates we run a number of prize draw competitions please note these standard rules – for some competitions there will be specific rules which will feature on material in-store or in the online post.

Prize draw winners are selected at random

There is not a cash alternative to the prize, and the prize is not transferrable.

Winners will be notified within 28 days of the closing date.

Entry is open to residents of the UK except employees (and their families) of Gates Garden Centre, and any other companies associated with the giveaway

The entrant(s) must be aged 18 or over and be a UK mainland resident

The winners will be informed by email or telephone whichever contact detail provided, and must respond within 28 days to claim their prize.

Copyright to the entries will remain with the entrant but the entrant licences F A Gates & Son Ltd to use their photographs to promote the brand across websites and social media

We reserve the right to use winner’s names, either first name or surname, but no other details, in publicity
