Tulip ‘Samantha’ (10 bulbs)

Tulipa ‘Samantha’ is a remarkable variety of naturalising perennial tulip, growing extremely double blooms of deep rich red. They can produce up to 6 flowers per bulb on a single flowering stem with strap-shaped leaves at ground level.

Opening up in sunlight, these tulips will bloom from mid to late spring, growing to a height of around 12cm/5″.

These spring flowering bulbs are ideal for containers, rock gardens or small spots at the edge of the border and are a fantastic source of early-spring nectar for pollinators. They should be planted in groups of at least 10-15 for the greatest visual impact.

‘Samantha’ tulip bulbs can be grown in almost any soil, be it acid, alkaline or neutral, provided there is good drainage. Look for an area of full sun, preferably in a place where tulips have not been grown in recent years. Plant the bulbs approximately 10cm/4″ deep and 10cm/4″ apart.
