Tulip ‘Christmas Marvel’ (10 bulbs)

Tulipa ‘Christmas Marvel’ is a fragrant and pretty single early tulip variety that will grow egg-shaped, bright cherry-pink flowers offering a welcome source of bright spring colour.

Expect ‘Christmas Marvel’ tulips to flower throughout April and May, with a very strong stem that can withstand wind and rain.

These spring flowering bulbs are ideal for planting at the front of colourful flower beds, in patio pots and containers, or in window boxes to be admired while indoors. For the best visual impact plant in groups of at least 10-15. Tulips are also excellent as cut flowers in arrangements to be enjoyed around the home.

‘Christmas Marvel’ tulip bulbs can be planted in a wide array of soil conditions, be it acidic, alkaline or neutral, so long as there is effective drainage. Try to find a position of full sun, in a place where tulips have not been grown in recent years, preferably protected from strong winds. Look to plant the bulbs around 10cm/4″ deep and 10cm/4″ apart.

Remove any flowers when they begin to fade and support with a top dressing of slow acting fertiliser, such as bone-meal, after planting to assist the flowering.
