Tulip ‘Blue Wow’ (10 bulbs)

Tulipa ‘Blue Wow’ is a captivating and distinct tulip variety producing fully open flowers that consist of vibrant purple-blue blooms, surrounded by green outer petals. This beautifully contrasting combination works brilliantly with the ruffled, fully open layout, producing a classic peony look.

Flowering throughout mid and late spring, these bulbs will grow up to a height of around 45cm/18″, with tall and strong stems that are able to withstand heavy wind and rain.

For the strongest visual impact, plant together en masse in groups of at least 10-15, mixed in among other spring flowering bulbs for a bright and elegant display in beds, borders, containers and rock gardens. These tulips will also excel as cut flowers.

‘Blue Wow’ tulips will grow in a diverse range of soils, acid, alkaline or neutral, provided there is good drainage, preferably in a position of full sun. Plant the bulbs approximately 15cm/6″ deep and 10cm/4″ apart.
