Lilium ‘Patio/Asiatic Type Victory Joy’ Bulbs

Lilium ‘Patio/Asiatic Type Victory Joy’ is part of the new ‘Lily Joy’ series of stunning dwarf growing, short stemmed Asiatic lilies.

Growing to only 60cm tall these bright orange blooms would be perfect for planting in patio containers or pots or at the front of a summer border. Flowering for several years, this hardy perennial will continue to delight with its striking bloom and deep green foliage.

Lilies such as the ‘Victory Joy’ tend to appreciate the shelter of low growing shrubs or other plants near their roots so try to find a position of sun or partial shade. When planting each bulb should be flanked above and below with a small amount of sand in order to fend off slugs and avoid excessive wetness.

These bulbs tend to prefer a heavy, well drained soil and should be planted approximately 12-15cm deep and 20cm apart. The planting period for these bulbs is between February and June with a flowering period of July to August.
