Lilium 'Asiatic Lollypop' (2 Bulbs)

Lilium 'Asiatic Lollypop' is a gorgeous lily of white petals flushed with a rose-red hue towards the tip of the flower creating a truly stunning display that will look stunning in any summer garden.

Often grown for their flamboyant, fragrant blooms lilies are a stalwart of summer borders. However, while Asiatic lilies are not scented unlike their oriental cousins, they easily compensate with their stunning colour and vibrant hues.

These bulbs are known to thrive in alkaline soils and should be planted in a position of sun or partial shade. Try to avoid dry, hot locations such as along south facing walls and make sure to protect the lilies from strong winds. The bulbs should be planted 12cm deep and 30cm apart.

Alternatively these bulbs can be planted in deep containers with a loam based compost such as John Innes No.2. Try to plant the bulbs around February to June and expect them to bloom between July and August.
