Lilium ‘Patio/Asiatic Type Sparkling Joy’ Bulbs

Lilium ‘Patio/Asiatic Type Sparkling Joy’ is a dwarf Asiatic pot lily that will grow between 45-60cm tall. With its stunning, chalky white flowers and waxy green foliage these lilies are perfect for patio containers, pots or for growing at the front of a summer border.

Ideally plant these bulbs as early as possible in late autumn or spring in time for their bloom throughout July to August.

Try to plant the bulbs 12cm deep and 20cm apart in a well-drained soil, enriched with well-rotted organic matter or leaf mould. When planting in a container aim for around 3 bulbs per each 10-14″ container and make sure to use ample good-quality, multi purpose compost such as John Innes No.3.

For maintenance, make sure to deadhead the blooms promptly and cut the dead stems back to ground level at the end of autumn to help discourage diseases.
