Lilium ‘Oriental Stargazer’ Bulbs

Lilium ‘Oriental Stargazer’ will make a stunning addition to any summer border or container with its stately sprays of fragrant, deep pink flowers edged in white.

Lilies are one of the all-time favourite summer-flowering bulbs and its easy to see why with the ‘Oriental Stargazer’. Much like other Oriental lilies, the ‘Stargazer’ is highly fragrant and a must for lovers of cut flower displays.

While best planted in autumn when the bulbs are still plump, lilies can still be planted in spring for an eye-catching summer display. For best results plant in odd numbered clumps where they are not exposed to wind and can get plenty of sunlight. Try to plant the bulbs approximately 12-15cm deep and 30cm apart in a well-drained soil, enriched with well-rotted organic matter or leaf mould.

Planted in a position of sun or partial shade, Oriental lilies can be left undisturbed and will flower for up to 8 weeks throughout July to August.

Deadhead the blooms promptly and cut the dead stems back to ground level at the end of autumn.
