Producing continuous blooms from early summer into autumn, David Austin Kew Gardens® (Ausfence) is a truly beautiful English Shrub Rose. It is easy to grow and will produce large clusters of small, single flowers that are similar to a hydrangea. They open as a pure white with a soft lemon centre behind the stamens and it has the added benefit of having very few thorns.
This rose will repeat flower from early summer until autumn and has a bushy and upright growing habit. It is extremely healthy and has reliable growth which has been recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society who have given it their prestigious Award of Garden Merit.
Perfect for positioning in a variety of areas around the garden including mixed borders, wild areas or grown into fragrant rose hedges, this English shrub rose will produce magnificent displays to enjoy year after year.
Bred by David Austin and introduced in 2009, it was named in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, in London.

To ensure you get the best floral display, plant your rose with a sprinkling of David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi to help the roots establish and encourage good plant health. We also recommend regular feeding with rose food, once in late March or early April and again in July. Whilst this rose is in flower deadhead any spent blooms to encourage new bud growth.
