Producing continuous blooms from early summer into autumn, David Austin Kew Gardens® (Ausfence) is a truly beautiful English Shrub Rose. This subtle rose produces large clusters of small, single flowers that are reminiscent of a hydrangea. These flowers open as a pure white with a soft lemon centre behind the stamens and have near thornless growth.
This rose will repeat flower from early summer until autumn and has a bushy and upright habit. It is easy to grow and is extremely healthy which has been recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society who have given it their prestigious Award of Garden Merit.
It can be used in mixed borders, wild areas or rose hedges and tends to prefer areas of full sun or partial shade, in any moist by free draining soil type. To ensure you get the best floral display, plant your rose with an application of Mycorrhizal Fungi to help establish strong roots and encourage good plant health.
If you are looking for abloom that is beautiful, easy to grow and will fit into any garden, then the Kew Gardens shrub rose is a wonderful choice.
