Add a kaleidoscope of sunny hues to your garden displays with the Lady of Shalott English shrub rose from David Austin. It bears large blooms of ruffled petals in a range of warming apricot, pink and golden hues. Perfect for adding to mixed borders, rose borders, pots and containers, as well as for creating magnificent rose hedges, this shrub makes a wonderful addition to any garden.
In addition to its striking floral display, its blooms have a wonderful medium tea fragrance, with hints of apple and spice that is an uplifting scent to enjoy on a summer’s day. It also has an elegant arching silhouette that will quickly form into a bushy shrub full of blooms. The Lady of Shalott shrub rose is also a great way to attract bees and a range of other pollinators into your garden.
Introduced in 2009, the name of the David Austin Lady of Shalott rose was taken from one of Lord Tennyson’s poems to commemorate the 200th anniversary of his birth.
