Lichfield AngelĀ® (Ausrelate) from David Austin is a vigorous and beautiful shrub rose. It develops pale peachy pink buds that open into neatly cupped, cream-coloured rosettes of blooms. It also has the added benefit of a neat, rounded silhouette and very few thorns.
As a repeat flowering rose, it blooms in flushes from late spring through to early winter with each flush of flowers lasting for 3 to 4 weeks to create a long-lasting and lightly scented display. A versatile choice for a range of gardens, you can plant the Lichfield Angel shrub rose in a mixed border, grow it as a charming rose hedge or enjoy it in a large container.
This English shrub rose was bred by David Austin and introduced in 2006. It is named after an Anglo-Saxon painted sculpture discovered at Lichfield Cathedral.

How to care for your rose
To get the best from your David Austin Lichfield AngelĀ® English Shrub Rose rose, apply a sprinkling of David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi to help the roots establish and encourage good plant health. We also recommend regularly feeding your rose with rose food, once in late March or early April and again in July. Whilst this rose is in flower, regularly deadhead to encourage new bud growth.
