Tulip ‘Violacea’ (10 bulbs)

Tulipa ‘Violacea’ is an intense variety of naturalising perennial tulip, growing incredible blooms of deep hot pink-purple making a bold statement in any garden.

Opening up in sunlight, these tulips will bloom from early to mid spring, growing to a height of around 10cm/4″.

These spring flowering bulbs are perfect for a spring garden, flowering for several years in borders, around shrubs and conifers and in containers on terraces and balconies. They should ideally be planted in groups of at least 10-15 for the greatest visual impact.

‘Violacea’ tulip bulbs can be grown in practically any soil, be it acid, alkaline or neutral, provided the drainage is satisfactory. Look for an area of full sun, preferably in a place where tulips have not been grown in recent years. Plant the bulbs approximately 10cm/4″ deep and 10cm/4″ apart.
