Tulip ‘Cynthia’ (10 bulbs)

Tulipa clusiana ‘Cynthia’ is an award winning variety of bi-colour tulip producing two-tone blooms of eye-catching pale yellow with flamed peach-red on the outside.

Flowering in April and May, these bulbous perennials will grow to a height of around 15cm/6″. They will produce reliable and consistent results with excellent disease and pest resistance as recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society with their Award of Garden Merit.

These spring flowering bulbs will make for an excellent addition to beds, borders, edging, rock gardens or naturalised grassy areas, forming larger colonies with each passing year. They should ideally be planted in groups of at least 10-15 for the greatest visual impact.

‘Cynthia’ tulip bulbs can be grown in a wide range of soils, be it acid, alkaline or neutral, as long as there is good drainage. Look for an area of sun or partial shade, avoiding areas where tulips have been grown in recent years. Plant the bulbs approximately 10cm/4″ deep and 10cm/4″ apart.
