Tulip ‘Tom Pouce’ (10 bulbs)

A wonderfully vibrant Tulip, Tulipa ‘Tom Pouce’ will produce exceptional eye-catching blooms of hot pink that blend into a subtle yellow core.

These ‘Tom Pouce’ bulbs will flower in April, at a height of around 45cm/18″, and are perfectly suited for beds or borders, in combination with flowering shrubs and conifers. They can also be used in pots, containers or as cut flowers. For the strongest visual impact, plant in groups of at least 10-15, amongst other complementary shades such as pink or white in order to create contrast and highlight their unique beauty.

‘Tom Pouce’ tulip bulbs should be planted 10cm/4″ deep and 10cm/4″ apart, in almost any soil, be it acidic, alkaline or neutral, as long as there is ample drainage. Plant in a position of full sun, in a place where tulips have not been grown in recent years, preferably protected from strong winds.

Remove flowers when they begin to fade and support them after planting with a top dressing of slow acting fertiliser, such as bone-meal, to assist the flowering.
