Tulip ‘Paul Scherer’ (9 bulbs)

Tulipa ‘Paul Scherer’ is an upright tallish tulip that bears incredible flowers of dark purple-black atop attractive strong green stems. A winner of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit, these bulbs are reliable, consistent and resistant to pests and disease.

Flowering throughout April and May, ‘Paul Scherer’ tulips will grow to a height of around 45cm. As such, they are perfect for spring flower beds and borders with their distinct blooms creating the perfect contrast for lighter brighter shades.

Tulips will grow in a wide range of soils, so long as there is good drainage. They like sunshine but the flowers will last longer in partial shade. When planting, aim for a depth and spacing of around 10cm/4″.
