Tulip ‘Double Red Riding Hood’ (10 bulbs)

Tulipa ‘Double Red Riding Hood’ is a compact tulip that will produce romantic double blooms of deep scarlet. These blooms appear above handsome, purple-striped, strap-like, grey-green leaves and can be left in the ground for several years.

Blooming throughout mid and late spring, these bulbs will reach a height of around 40cm/16″.

For a delectable and captivating display, plant these bulbs together, en masse, in groups of at least 10-15, to contrast against other colourful spring flowering bulbs. These bulbs can be used in beds, borders, containers or rock gardens and are also perfect for cut flower displays within the home.

‘Double Red Riding Hood’ tulips will grow in a wide range of soils, acid, alkaline or neutral, provided there is good drainage, ideally in a position of full sun. Plant the bulbs approximately 15cm/6″ deep and 10cm/4″ apart.
