Tulip ‘Doll’s Minuet’ (10 bulbs)

Tulipa ‘Doll’s Minuet’ is a spectacular member of the Viridiflora Tulip group with intense and stunning deep magenta-pink pointed petals. These enchanting flowers flare outwards towards the top of the petals creating the aesthetic of flowing red ribbon.

‘Doll’s Minuet’ bulbs will grow to a height of around 30cm/12″ and tend to flower for up to three weeks during April and May.

These elegant spring flowering bulbs are great for pots or containers and will be a welcome addition to most borders. They should ideally be planted in groups of at least 10-15 for the greatest visual impact and are also exceptional as cut flowers.

‘Doll’s Minuet’ tulip bulbs will grow in practically any soil, whether it is acidic, alkaline or neutral, provided there is effective drainage. Look for a position of full sun, in a place where tulips have not been grown in recent years, preferably protected from strong winds. Plant the bulbs approximately 10cm/4″ deep and 10cm/4″ apart.

Remove flowers as they fade and support after planting with a top dressing of slow acting fertiliser, such as bone-meal, to assist the flowering.
