Tulip ‘Candy Prince’ (10 bulbs)

Tulipa ‘Candy Prince’ is a beautiful and pretty tulip that produces lovely soft lilac flowers, nestled above its sword-shaped silvery-green leaves.

‘Candy Prince’ tulips will flower throughout April and May, reaching a height of approximately 35cm/14″.

These spring flowering bulbs are perfect for planting at the front of colourful flower beds, in patio pots and containers, or in window boxes to be admired while indoors. Tulips are also excellent as cut flowers in flower arrangements to be enjoyed around the home.

‘Candy Prince’ tulip bulbs can be planted in a wide array of soil conditions, whether it is acidic, alkaline or neutral, so long as there is effective drainage. They will thrive in a position of full sun, in a place where tulips have not been grown in recent years, preferably protected from strong winds. Look to plant the bulbs around 10cm/4″ deep and 10cm/4″ apart.

Remove any flowers when they begin to fade and support with a top dressing of slow acting fertiliser, such as bone-meal, after planting to assist the flowering.
