A reliable repeat-flowering rose, David Austin Phyllis Bide® is a rambling rose that produces stunning blooms in a mix of pale apricot and pink hues. These delightful flowers are flushed with pale yellow and produce a medium sweet fragrance.

Phyllis Bide will bloom between May and September with each flush of flowers lasting for up to 3 or 4 weeks. It is a medium sized rambling rose, which reaches a height of around 4.5m in a period of approximately three years. It is a wonderful rose for growing over a doorway, wall or fence and will excel when integrated into garden structures such as arches or pergolas.

Originally introduced in 1923, this beautiful rose is robust and reliable to grow. This has been recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society who have given it their prestigious Award of Garden Merit.

How to care for your rose

To get the best blooms from your David Austin Phyllis Bide rambling rose, plant it with a sprinkling of David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi around the base to help the roots establish and encourage good plant health. We also recommend regularly feeding with rose food, once in late March or early April and again in July. Whilst this rose is in flower, deadhead the spent blooms to encourage new bud growth.
