Lilium ‘Oriental Acapulco’ (2 Bulbs)

The large, vibrant blooms of Lilium ‘Oriental Acapulco’ will brighten up any garden border or summer bed with its hot-pink, freckled petals.

With striking, colourful blooms it makes perfect as a focal point within a summer border, standing out from pots and containers, or as part of a cut flower arrangement to enjoy around the home. When combined with their incredible fragrance, these lilies are sure to be a summer favourite.

With tall upright stems, these lilies are ideal for planting among other perennials and shrubs with their roots in the shade and faces in the sun. The bulbs tend to prefer a loamy, well-drained soil and should be planted around 15cm deep and 30cm apart. Oriental lilies such as the ‘Acapulco’ tend to take approximately 100 days to bloom and should be planted in spring in order to flower between July and August.

To prolong its floral display, deadhead the blooms promptly. Once it has finished flowering, in autumn, cut the dead stems back to ground level.
