Gladiolus Giant Flowering ‘Pastel Mixed’ is a delightful collection of white, pink and purple Gladioli bringing an elegant, charming touch to any summer garden.

The gladiolus is an easy-to-grow flower, especially valued for its use in floral arrangements with stunning spires of bloom and swathes of sword-shaped leaves. These bulbs can grow upwards of 120cm tall making them ideal for the back of summer borders where they can complement bushier shrubs and flowers in front.

For the best results, plant in clusters of five or more in a position of full sun. If possible plant multiple groupings, ensuring a separate supply for cut flowers with the rest for garden display. Plant each bulb 10cm deep and 10cm apart. We recommend planting in two week intervals throughout March into June to ensure a long flowering succession.

After the buds have formed, stake the stems at least 5cm from the base, preventing damage to the bulbs. Gladioli need water during the growing period and mulching with peat or compost to conserve moisture.
