James L Austin® (Auspike) is a medium English shrub rose bred by David Austin®, which is available in a 6-litre pot. It has a bushy upright habit and produces large, deep pink rosettes with a light to medium uplifting fruity fragrance.
This rose will repeat flower and form into a neat and tidy shrub. It is a beautiful addition to a rose border or perfect for combining with other plants in mixed borders. It can also be grown as a fragrant rose hedge to add structure to garden displays. It also makes an excellent addition to a large pot or container to add colour to patio and seating areas. If you are growing your rose in a border, we recommend planting it in groups of the same variety for an impressive display, that gets better as each year passes.
Bred by David Austin and introduced in 2017, this rose was named for the son of David Austin Senior and brother of David Austin Junior.

How to care for your rose
To get the best from your James L. Austin shrub rose, plant it with an application of David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi around the base to help the roots establish and encourage good plant health. We also recommend regularly feeding with rose food, once in late March or early April and again in July. Whilst this rose is in flower, deadhead the spent blooms to encourage new bud growth.
