David Austin Gentle Hermione® (Ausrumba) English Shrub Rose (6 litre pot)

Gentle Hermione (Ausrumba) bears beautiful, shallow, cupped light pink blooms. First introduced in 2005, these flowers produce a strong myrrh fragrance and are excellent at attracting bees and other large pollinators.

The foliage forms an attractive, broad shrub with gently arched stems and will reach a height of 1.25m and width of 1.4m after a period of around 3 years. This makes it an easy to manage rose for all gardeners, especially due to its tolerance for all soil types. It is perfect for planting into mixed borders, wild areas or for future cut flowers and should be planted into an area of full sunlight. We also recommend an application of Mycorrhizal Fungi to help establish roots and encourage good plant health.

This English shrub rose bred by David Austin is named after the character Hermione in Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale.
