Bathsheba® by David Austin is a stunning, repeat flowering and fragrant climbing rose with captivating apricot-yellow buds, which unfurl into delicately cupped rosettes. The flowers have a graceful combination of subtle apricot-pink and yellow hues, creating the impression of apricot tones, complemented by creamy outer petals. Notably, Bathsheba® has an exquisite floral Myrrh fragrance, infused with hints of honey and Tea.
Bathsheba® embodies the name of the resilient protagonist from Thomas Hardy’s novel, Far From The Madding Crowd. Introduced in 2016, this rose captures the essence of her strength and independence and is an ideal choice for gardeners looking for a rose that exudes elegance and romance.

How to care for your rose
To ensure you get the best floral display, plant your rose with a sprinkling of David Austin Mycorrhizal Fungi to help the roots establish and encourage good plant health. We also recommend regular feeding with rose food, once in late March or early April and again in July. Whilst this rose is in flower, regularly deadhead the spent blooms to encourage new bud growth.
