Cornus alba ‘Kesselringii’ (5 litre)

Cornus alba ‘Kesselringii’, also known as white dogwood, tend to be grown for their distinctive winter colour when their leafless stems are able to stand out as a valued source of variation within a faded winter garden.

This dramatic, vigorous, deciduous shrub will quickly form a thicket of these colourful stems in the winter as well as leaves that turn red or purple in the autumn, small cream coloured flowers in the spring or summer and finally some white berries in the autumn.

Plant in a position of full sun or partial shade with soil that is moist but well drained. These shrubs are usually pest or disease free and are fully hardy in the UK down to around -20 degrees.
