The Amaryllis ‘Gervase’ premium indoor growing kit gift pack produces blooms with striking red anthers and stunning pale pink petals which have rich-magenta streaks. The large headed blooms on this Hippeastrum are perfect for creating eye-catching displays to enjoy around the home during the winter months. This premium gift pack comes with everything you need to get started and includes a ‘Gervase’ bulb, pot and compost.

Easy and reliable to grow, simply place the compost pellet in a mixing container and add 350ml of lukewarm water. Leave it to expand for thirty minutes to one hour and then mix the compost well before use. Half fill the container provided, place the bulb in the pot and fill around it, leaving a third of the bulb showing.

This flower is happiest when planted in direct sunlight at room temperature. The ‘Gervase’ will then bloom around 8 weeks after planting in winter or early spring. You may need to support the stem as it grows and as the flowers bloom. To extend the flowering period, we recommend moving this amaryllis to a cooler position once the flowers start to show.
