The Amaryllis ‘Magic Green’ (Premium Indoor Growing Kit Gift Pack) includes a bulb, pot and compost.

‘Magic Green’ is a spectacular flowering Hippeastrum bulb, more commonly known as amaryllis.

Ideal for a pop of colour and because the bulb set comes boxed, it makes a wonderful living gift.

This amaryllis bulb will flower during winter months and will produce an upright plant (24-26cm) with white flowers and some with red edges.

Easy to grow, simply place the compost pellet in a suitable mixing container and add 350ml of lukewarm water. Leave it to expand for thirty minutes to one hour and then mix the compost well before use. Half fill the container provided, place the bulb in the pot and fill around it, leaving a third of the bulb showing.

This flower is happiest when planted in direct sunlight at room temperature. The ‘Magic Green’ will then bloom around 8 weeks after planting in winter or early spring. You may need to support the stem as it grows and as the flowers bloom.

To extend the flowering period, we recommend moving this amaryllis to a cooler position once the flowers start to show.
