The Gates Garden Centre and Gates Farming team are looking forward to seeing you at this year’s Rutland County Show. It’s at the Showground on Sunday 4th June 2023, between 9.00am and 5.00pm, and you’ll see a selection of our favourite garden furniture, taste something sizzling on the barbecue, and have the chance to win something special for your garden. Our friendly experts will be on hand to answer any questions, we’re also celebrating our 75th Anniversary, so there’s lots to tell you about!

Gates Farming at the Show

You can meet and chat with the Gates Farming team on the stand, who supply beef and lamb to our Gates Farm Shop in-store butchery; Hambletons. The farming team are looking forward to showing their Shorthorn Cattle, named Stormzy, Sparrow and Skyfall, in the ring at this year’s Show.

Collect a Voucher

Join us for a glass of something fizzy whilst you try our luxurious garden furniture – whether you prefer traditional or contemporary design, Gates has the largest collection in the East Midlands, and the Show gives you an opportunity to try out and purchase our most popular styles in a relaxed setting.

We’ll have hanging egg chairs for curling up in, elegant garden sofa sets that will seat the whole family in comfort and outdoor dining sets that are perfect for entertaining in style, so you’re sure to find what you are looking for. We’ll also have a selection of outdoor scatter cushions and furniture accessories to complete the look with a selection of our favourite garden furniture brands on display, like Bramblecrest, Kettler and Hartman.

As an Official Weber World Store, we have an extensive array of Weber barbecue products and an expert team to take you through all the available options. Our lively Show display will feature a selection of our favourite sizzling Barbecues for you to browse, plus you can sample delicious food with the Weber grill professionals who will be cooking live and answering your BBQing questions on the day. So whether you’re searching for the authentic smoky taste you get from a charcoal grill, or the convenient control of a gas barbecue we’re sure to have something which ticks all your boxes. We’ll also have a range of barbecue fuel and accessories for you to buy at the show.

There’s so much to enjoy at the Show with other highlights including the UK’s premier motorbike display team, meet the horses and ponies, vintage tractor displays, scurry driving, dogs at work, live music, the hilarious sheep show, fabulous shopping and so much more. There’s something for all the family to enjoy and well-behaved dogs are welcomed with participation in the dog show encouraged.
