It’s been an incredible 75 Years since Fred and Ivy Gates started planting, growing and serving locals from their kitchen garden in Cold Overton. This year we really want to spoil our cherished customers, and to give something back to the many people that have contributed to our achievements over our first 75 years in business. The launch of our new Gates Loyalty Club does just that, with a wealth of exclusive benefits, special treats and little ways to make your shopping quicker and easier.

Discounts and Offers

• Save £5 when you spend £50 – When you first join the Gates Loyalty Club, you’ll get £5 off when you spend £50 or more on a single transaction, (Single use only) you can use this offer throughout the Garden Centre, Garden Restaurant, Courtyard Coffee Shop or Farm Shop.
• Free Hot Drink every month – Choose from a comforting cup of tea, or something more exotic perhaps Lemon & Ginger, Earl Grey, or any of our luxury coffees or hot chocolate from our selection in the Garden Restaurant, Courtyard Coffee Shop and seasonal Winter Kitchen pop up.
• Personalised offers on the things you love – When you scan your Gates Loyalty Club App every time you shop with us, your shopping preferences will generate offers that are most relevant to you, ensuring you benefit from great Gates value on your favourite product ranges.

Prizes and Giveaways

There will also be some exciting prizes and giveaways that are solely for Loyalty Club customers, such as:

• Win your shopping – Once a month, we’ll treat one lucky Gates Loyalty Club customer to the value of their shopping (up to £150), for free. So the more you shop, and the more you scan your Loyalty Club App – the more chance there is to win.
• Gifts and giveaways – We’ll regularly surprise Gates Loyalty Club customers with a little gift – watch out at our tills for special treats for Loyalty Club customers only.

Gates Events Priority Booking

Throughout the year the Gates events calendar includes a range of interesting activities and brand launches, plus our amazing Santa Experience and Christmas activities. Loyalty Club members will get the chance to order the Santa Experience first – our Loyalty Club customers are notified a week in advance so can book in early.

All your receipts in one place

The scheme will also operate as a handy receipts wallet. Whether you’re shopping in store or online, we’ll keep all your receipts and guarantees safe in your online account, so you’ll always know where they are and can easily access them when you need to.

Environmental Benefits

Being a member of the Gates Loyalty Club can benefit the environment too.

Plant a Tree Since Gates Farm was established in 2015, we have created around 80 acres of new woodland, utilising various native tree species to compliment and support the local flora and fauna of the area. Restoring habitats means we can now see a great number of new wildlife species on the farm who are making it their home. Every year we continue our planting schemes and the Gates Loyalty Card users will make a valuable contribution. For each £100+ transaction made, Gates Farm will pledge to plant a tree or hedgerow sapling on the farmland or around the Garden Centre, making a valuable contribution to our environment.

Recycle & Save Gates Garden Centre will also be running a Recycle and Save scheme for Loyalty Club members. Return unwanted plastic plant pots and trays, to the bin adjacent to the Customer Information desk, showing the team your Loyalty Club App and save £1 off your next purchase. Each month, drop off plastic pots and trays and we’ll make sure they don’t end up in landfill, unlike 95% of the half a billion plant pots in circulation in the UK and US each year. We can take all shapes, sizes and colours, as long as they’re plastic, they just need a quick wash first.
