A vigorous bloomer, Veilchenblau is a rambling rose that produces large, compact clusters of small flowers. These blooms emerge in a striking shade of magenta with a white centre and the odd escaping streak of white through the petals. Each bloom features bright yellow stamens with a medium-strong, fruity fragrance.

Hardy in all of the UK and northern Europe, this rambling rose will take approximately 3 years to reach a height of around 4.5m. It can be planted in a position of full sun or partial shade and is tolerant of all soil types. To help establish roots and encourage good plant health, we recommend an application of Mycorrhizal Fungi.

A once-flowering variety, the flowers will appear throughout June and July, gradually fading towards a soft lilac-grey as they mature, along stiff and almost thornless stems.

This versatile rose is perfect for training along a garden wall or fence and for growing up the front of house to inject some colour. It can also be used to train into a large arch or garden structure.
