Tulip ‘Queen of Night’ (18 bulbs)

Tulipa ‘Queen of Night’ is a distinctive and elegant tulip, producing deep purple, almost black flowers.

One of the darkest of all tulips, this variety is perfect for growing among lightly-coloured tulips, providing excellent contrast against other brighter shades.

For the best visual impact, plant in groups among other spring flowering bulbs for a stunning and colourful display. Expect each tulip to reach a height of 60cm and the flowers to appear throughout April and May.

‘Queen of Night’ tulips will grow in a wide range of different soils, provided there is good drainage, in a position of full sun or partial shade. Plant at a depth and spread of 10cm/4″.

Remove flower heads as they begin to fade and avoid repeatedly planting tulips in exactly the same spot that they have been grown in recent years.
