Chionodoxa luciliae ‘Lucile’s glory of the snow’ incorporates lavender-blue star-shaped flowers with a paler white centre, surround by silver-green leaves.

These bulbs are perfect for growing in a range of different areas in an outdoor space, such as in lawns, under trees, in patio containers, or in the front of borders. They are great at naturalising wherever they are planted, as long as they are sat in partial sunshine these little bulbs are happy. It is best to avoid mowing or cutting back the plants until the leaves have died back.

Plant these bulbs fairly close together at 3-5cm, or 30 to 40 bulbs in a square foot, and 5cm deep in the soil.
