Lilium ‘Fairy Morning’ (2 bulbs)

Lilium ‘Fairy Morning’ is a beautiful and captivating variety of martagon lily producing masses of stunning pink flowers, turning yellow and orange towards the centre and freckled with burgundy spots.

Growing to a height of around 120cm/48″, these downward facing flowers, with their strongly reflexed petals, will light up the garden with many blooms emerging per stem.

Blooming between June and August, these naturalising bulbs will make for an excellent border plant, providing excellent contrast to the perennial border, mixing well with other summer flowering plants. These lilies are also excellent as cut flowers or for wild gardens and containers.

Lilies such as ‘Fairy Morning’ like a well drained, moisture retentive soil with a good supply of humus such as leaf mould or compost. Lilies like sun or partial shade with their feet in the shade and their heads in the sun, but avoid hot dry situations such as along a south facing wall.

Plant the bulbs 15cm/6″ deep and 15cm/6″ apart. When planting in pots, plant deeply and keep well watered.
