Lilium ‘OT-Hybrid Tower Lilies Honeymoon’ combines the best of both the Chinese Trumpet Lily and the Oriental Hybrid Lilies.

With their large trumpet shaped flowers, inherited from the Chinese Trumpet Lily, and the exotic beauty and fragrance of the Oriental Lily, these towering lilies are sure to stand out with their prominent stature and exotic golden bloom, flushing to a pale buttery yellow edge.

Known to grow up to 200cm tall within the first two years these bulbs can produce up to thirty 20cm trumpet blooms and will take on a shrub like appearance over the years. These amazing lilies are a favourite for cut bouquets due to their long lasting and aromatic flowers. They are fully hardy and will multiply and strengthen year on year.

A Lilium ‘OT-Hybrid Tower Lilies Honeymoon’ can be planted through shrubs in borders, against walls and fences, or in large pots for the patio and can be left to look after itself. The bulbs should be planted approximately 2 times their height deep (around 15cm) and at least 20cm apart. Lilium bulbs tend to greatly appreciate the shelter of low growing shrubs or other plants near their roots.

These flowers are long lasting and drought resistant once established and will naturalise brilliantly. Orienpet lilies tend to bloom slightly earlier than Orientals with a fantastic, sweet and fresh fragrance.

Orienpet lilies will usually flower between July and October.
