Lilium ‘Patio/Asiatic Type Fancy Joy’ Bulbs

Lilium ‘Patio/Asiatic Type Fancy Joy’ is a striking perennial with upward facing yellow flowers and prominent red/brown anthers.

Able to flower for many years, the ‘Fancy Joy’ is perfect in flower beds and borders as well as in tubs or pots. With their dramatic colour these flowers are a perfect focal point in your garden however these lilies can also be ideal as cut flowers.

These bulbs should be planted between February and June in preparation for a summer bloom. Aim to plant the bulbs 12cm deep and 20cm apart in a heavy, well drained soil with a good supply of humus such as John Innes No.2. These lilies tend to grow up to around 50cm tall and can spread up to 20cm.

Make sure to deadhead regularly and cut back the lily in autumn once the foliage has yellowed.
