Lilium ‘Oriental Mother’s Choice’ Bulbs

Lilium ‘Oriental Mother’s Choice’ is a sweetly scented Oriental Hybrid Lily with large white blooms and deep green foliage.

These gorgeous white blooms are invaluable when used among summer beds in order to calm down any harsher hues or simply to provide contrast to the bright perennial summer border. When planted in clumps these lilies are an ideal choice to fill out a pot or container and make ideal cut flowers with their elegant bloom and sweet fragrance.

Try to find a position of sun or partial shade where the base of the plant will receive slight shade and the head is in sun. Plant the bulbs 12cm deep and 30cm apart in a well-drained heavy soil with a good supply of humus. The bulbs should be planted between February and June in time for their summer bloom from July to August.

In regards to maintenance, cut back the leaves and stems as soon as they turn yellow and deadhead promptly.
