Kamado Joe Barbecue demonstration day – Free Event

Gates Garden Centre will be hosting Kamado Joe for a barbecue demonstration day on Saturday 25th July 2022.

Kamado ovens originated in Asia 3,000 years ago and are known for producing food with a great depth of flavour and plenty of succulent juices.

Kamado Joe grills are a thoroughly modern take on the traditional Kamado oven. These awesome charcoal BBQs are distinguished by their sleek egg-shaped design and iconic blaze-red glossy finish. Kamado Joes feature thick ceramic shells which are incredibly efficient at retaining heat; so you can sear, grill, roast, bake and smoke with ease – these barbecues can do it all.

Being taller than a traditional kettle barbecue, you can prepare a range of barbecue foods at the same time, from searing delicious steaks to roasting a whole smoky chicken with a crispy skin.

What to expect from the Kamado Joe Barbecue demonstration day

If you’d like to find out more about these amazingly versatile grills, then head down to Gates Garden Centre on Saturday 25^th June between the hours of 11am and 3pm to experience Kamado Joe for yourself. This is a free event and no booking is necessary, you can just drop in on the day. The team from Kamado Joe will be demonstrating the impressive capabilities of these exciting barbecues, sizzling up classic smoky barbecue treats for you to sample, prepared fresh from the grill by their own barbecue chefs. They will be using a range of Kamado Joe barbecues and accessories, from the Joe Junior, to the Big Joe, with the Classic II and Classic III in between.

The Kamado Joe team will be sharing their expertise, answering any questions you have about the grills, and even how to get the best out of them if you already own one. They will also be encouraging visitors to get hands on with these jaw-dropping barbecues.

One lucky person will also win a fantastic Kamado Joe Kettle Joe Barbecue on the day, worth £419.
