Who are Bramblecrest?

Bramblecrest are designers and makers of high quality outdoor garden furniture. Where it began

Back in the year 2000, two travelling school friends happened upon a Javanese terracotta pot factory. Intrigued by the attention to detail and quality of outdoor products, the friends decided to import a collection of beautiful Javanese pots to sell to customers at RHS shows at home. These sold quickly, so upon returning to Java, they also visited Javanese teak factories and this began Bramblecrest’s interest in teak garden furniture. The wooden garden furniture also sold well at RHS Shows and soon garden centres across the country began to sell Bramblecrest teak, which then extended to rattan and aluminium.

So from pots to garden seating and patio sets, this was the beginning of Bramblecrest. They now supply approximately 250 stores across the UK and Ireland and are considered market leaders of high quality rattan wicker, aluminium, fabric, teak and marine faux leather garden furniture.

Based in Stroud, Gloucestershire in the heart of the British Cotswolds, Bramblecrest have drawn inspiration for many of their elegant woven collections from surrounding picturesque locations such as Chedworth, Oakridge and Tetbury. This theme continues with their aluminium, fabric and teak furniture collections being named after aspirational destinations across the world, from Mauritius to Monte Carlo and Monterey to Portofino.

Bramblecrest source materials for their products in an ethical manner too, using hardwood teak from responsibly managed forests across the globe. To support forests, Bramblecrest have partnered with Ecologi to plant forest trees for every furniture set sold.

All-weather fabric and furniture frames

British weather can be unpredictable, so Bramblecrest furniture and fabrics are designed to withstand the elements and can be left outside. Bramblecrest fabrics are back-coated with a water-resistant liner to prevent moisture build up, with cushions made to drip-dry fast. To keep seat cushions in peak condition we advise storing cushions indoors or in a dry secure place out of season.
