What’s new for Bramblecrest 2022

Set to be an exciting year for outdoor living, we reveal what one of our favourite outdoor living brands, Bramblecrest, has to offer by looking at some of their most exciting and innovative collections yet. There are new additions to popular ranges and the latest scatter cushion designs, as well as new garden furniture cover bundles for entire patio sets.

If you’re not aware already, Bramblecrest Garden Furniture have been designing and crafting high-quality garden furniture for just over two decades with popular aluminium, teak and wicker ranges. At the heart of their Cotswolds driven values is enjoying time spent together outside, no matter how large or small the outdoor space.

We take a look at what’s new to Bramblecrest in 2022, from furniture collections to the latest additions to existing ranges, as well as new colourways for furniture and fabrics.

Brand new collections for Bramblecrest in 2022

Introducing three new collections for 2022, Bramblecrest are offering something different this year, with two collections using synthetic rope woven on aluminium frames that feature uniquely rounded profiles. These are called the Mauritius and Palermo collections. Plus, there’s a contemporary modular range called Vilamoura, which has been tastefully designed with a stylish combination of teak and aluminium.

The Mauritius collection is our firm favourite. It offers the perfect mix of contemporary materials balanced with traditional styling to suit almost any outdoor space, from a classic country garden to a modern patio or deck. Mauritius features superior marine-grade synthetic rope in Heron Grey, which is intertwined elegantly around the arms and backs of Anthracite Grey aluminium all-weather frames.

With a rounded profile, Mauritius is unique to Bramblecrest with deep half-moon backs that hold super thick Eco Cobble ‘soft touch’ season-proof cushions. The sumptuous cushions are ideal for nestling into and provide excellent support. Attention to detail is key with this collection and it’s reassuring to know that every seat is supported underneath by a solid criss-cross aluminium frame that means the synthetic rope is thoughtfully wrapped around seating and not beneath for durability.

We think Mauritius is a sophisticated range offering a combination of seating solutions from the Mauritius Garden Lounge Set to the Mauritius Square Adjustable Casual Lounge Set and Mauritius Square Modular Sofa Firepit Set. It’s a practical choice from the Bramblecrest 2022 collections, with all the benefits of quick drying and easy cleaning. Just remember to store cushions when not in use to make the most of this garden furniture.

New Designs for 2022

Key to Bramblecrest’s success is the longevity of their furniture collections. Bramblecrest customers benefit from being able to buy new pieces anytime and enjoy consistently high quality and styling.

A good example of this is the Monterey collection, which has been in production for a number of years but this year sees the addition of some additional thoughtful outdoor solutions for entertaining with two new rattan firepit sets. Both sets are finished in a beautiful Dove Grey weave to match the rest of the range. Take a look at the Monterey Modular Sofa Set with Large Rectangular Firepit Table and the Monterey Modular U Sofa with Rectangular Firepit Coffee Table. These large furniture sets with warming, outdoor heater fire pits are ideal for socialising with friends and family long into the night.

There are some new combinations to look out for this year by Bramblecrest in the Monte Carlo range with our standout favourite being the Rectangular Casual Lounge Set with three seat sofa, height adjustable rectangular casual dining table, sofa armchairs and stools, which provides a versatile amount of seating for everyone.

A recent addition to Bramblecrest is the Chedworth collection. Chedworth is elegant and oozes luxury with some of the most sumptuous season-proof cushions we’ve seen. Chedworth is definitely the best of the woven collections, followed closely by Monterey and then Tetbury.

This is a growing collection of premium woven garden furniture with innovative features and accessories like the Chedworth Sandstone Headrest in Herringbone Barley which provides fabulous neck support especially for reclining seating options. And what’s not to love about the new 8 Seater Elliptical Firepit Dining Set in Sandstone, and Reclining Mini Fire Pit Set in Sandstone, which are real showstoppers in any garden setting.

One of the newest ranges, that offers affordable woven furniture combinations, is called Tetbury. Tetbury is not to be underestimated, it offers simple yet practical styles and we think the Tree-Free Balcony Set with Parasol & Base in this range will be a hit for smaller gardens and outdoor spaces. It is a compact hideaway set that offers a surprising amount of seating for four to eight people.

The 8 Seat Dining Set with Kuta Table has been a firm favourite by Bramblecrest for years. But 2022 sees this set receive a major update with eight beautiful Chedworth armchairs to replace Oakridge armchairs which used to accompany this set.

Aluminium garden furniture is increasingly popular and accounts for a large proportion of garden furniture sales across UK garden centres. To meet the demand for interesting and stylish metal outdoor furniture, Bramblecrest have designed the La Rochelle Rectangular 4 Seat Bar Set with a glamourous and unusual sintered stone tabletop made from natural materials. This bar set provides generous and comfortable seating for four with discreet spaces for glasses and drinks. We think this it’s the perfect patio bar set to impress guests and of course it matches the rest of the La Rochelle Range perfectly.

Brand new colourways for Bramblecrest in 2022

Further to the success of the very popular Chedworth range in Sandstone that was launched last year, Bramblecrest have launched a Dove Grey wicker option for a more cool and contemporary look, while maintaining a traditional style. Our favourite pieces in this collection are the chic, cosy and comfortable double and triple Cocoons & Egg Chairs that showcase the Dove Grey and Eco Charcoal colours perfectly.

If greys are your thing, then the brand-new Mauritius collection introduces Heron Grey cushions with Anthracite Grey frames which bring cool and soothing tones to update any garden.

Don’t forget you can add your own finishing touches with a scatter cushion or two. Scatter cushions enhance comfort and allow you to showcase your personal style. For 2022 Bramblecrest have introduced new geometric patterns and Pantone colourways. Our favourite new scatter cushions include Lemon Medallion, Plain Light Grey, Light Grey Wicker, Plain Lemon, Lemon Wicker and Light Grey Medallion. We love the burst of colour from the lemon scatters, which look incredible against Dove Grey wicker and Anthracite Grey aluminium frames.

Although Bramblecrest make all-weather garden furniture, we have always recommended the use of covers to protect against general garden grime.
