Sarcococca hookeriana var. humilis is an evergreen, winter flowering shrub that is hardy and grows well in shade, supporting bees and other pollinators.

Commonly known as ‘Christmas Box’ or ‘Sweet Box’, Sarcococcas are a popular choice for flower arranging and winter gardens, producing year round, glossy, deep green, waxy foliage. This foliage is accompanied by inconspicuous, sweetly scented, creamy-white flowers in winter and by glossy black berries in the summer.
