Recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society with their Award of Garden Merit, Rudbeckia speciosa ‘Goldstrum’ produces masses of eye-catching orange-yellow flowers. Carried atop sturdy stems, these flowers consist of up to 20 large petals that surround a prominent, dark central cone. They grow with such profusion that they cover up the foliage of oval, dark green leaves.

When planted in the right conditions, the Rudbeckia Speciosa ‘Goldstrum’ will bloom from mid-summer through to early autumn, providing a long-lasting display of colour in your garden. The plant prefers full sun and well-drained soil, making it ideal for planting in borders, wildflower meadows or as a cut flower in a vase.

To plant the Rudbeckia Speciosa ‘Goldstrum’ bulb, simply dig a hole in the soil, place the bulb in the hole, and cover it with soil. Water well and keep the soil moist until the plant has established itself. Once established, the plant will be drought tolerant and will require minimal maintenance.

For the best results, plant the Rudbeckia Speciosa ‘Goldstrum’ bulbs in groups of three or more to create a stunning display. With its hardy nature and vibrant flowers, this plant is sure to be a crowd-pleaser in any garden.

A trouble free plant which requires little attention. The plants have a rather shallow root system, which explains the need for water and mulching in dry periods. Clumps need lifting about every third or fourth year to maintain their vigour, using only the outer parts of the clump for replanting. Divide in spring or autumn.
