Mr Fothergill’s Parsnip Gladiator F1 Seeds

Mr. Fothergill’s Parsnip Gladiator F1 Seeds have become an established leading variety. Their vigorous, large wedge-shaped roots have a really sweet flavour and are canker resistant.

They are an excellent source of vitamin C and folate and keep in good condition in the ground.

A deeply dug soil will help this variety attain its full size and produce exhibition quality roots.

• Pack Contents: Approximately 200 seeds
• When to sow: February to May
• Where to sow: Sow outdoors into finely prepared soil which has already been watered
• How to sow: Sow 1.5cm deep directly where they are to crop. Allow 40cm between rows.
• Care: Thin plants to 20cm apart and replace any dislodges soil. Water well until plants are established. Leave roots in the ground until required as they improve after exposure to autumn frosts
• When to harvest: October to February
