Mr. Fothergill’s Climbing French Bean Blue Lake Seeds are a traditional favourite with heavy crops of dark green pods.

These seeds are generally used as green beans but can also be allowed to ripen and used as haricots.

French Bean Blue Lake Seeds are a good source of vitamin C, vitamin A and fibre.

An early and late sowing will extend the harvest season. In hot weather mist the flowers with tepid water in the evening to help pods form.
