• Where to sow: In growing position
• How to sow: Sow thinly and cover lightly with fine soil
• Care: When large enough thin as necessary, spacing 20cm apart
• When to harvest: June to November, pick the leaves as required

For indoors sowing

• When to sow: All year round for pots indoors
• Where to sow: In pots of moist compost
• How to sow: Sow thinly and cover lightly with compost. Cover with clear glass, polythene or propagator lid
• Care: Remove cover when seedlings appear. Transplant to 15cm pots of compost and place in a light airy location
• When to harvest: All year round, pick the leaves as required
