The Diascia Personata ‘Hopleys’ is a hardy perennial that produces beautiful racemes of dusky pink flowers over a long flowering period.
These pretty pink flowers grow with a darker red-pink throat and yellow anthers atop stiff upright stems of up to 1m. They flower from May to September with bright green foliage all year round.
Grown in-house at Gates Garden Centre, Diascia Personata ‘Hopleys’ are best planted in a mixed perennial border and are ideal if you are looking for a ‘cottage garden’ aesthetic. They also make for excellent cut flowers.
Plant in a position of full sun, in fertile, moist and well drained soil. Once established, divide congested plants in early spring or late summer. Protect young plants from slugs and snails and deadhead regularly.
