Dahlia Decorative ‘Special X Factor’ (1 tuber)

The flowers of Dahlia Decorative ‘Special X Factor’ are a deep claret with the tips of each petal a pure and elegant white.

These stunning, exotic blooms grow up to 25 cm wide above busy foliage and are perfect for mixed summer borders or as striking cut flowers.

We recommend planting Dahlia tubers, such as ‘Special X Factor’, between March and June into fertile, well drained soil 15 cm deep and 60 cm apart. Position in a sunny location for maximum flowering and impact.

After planting, water in well and monitor during the Summer months. Aim for one good soak once a week to the base of the plant.

Use an all-purpose general plant feed for bigger and brighter blooms. Deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers through till first frosts. Cut back to near ground level in the autumn, before lifting and storing for the winter.
