Dahlia Decorative ‘Duet’ (1 tuber)

Dahlia Decorative ‘Duet’ produces stunning and spectacular bi-colour flowers, an elegant mix of dark maroon toward their heart against crisp white at their tips.

Their large (15-20 cm) fully double flowers are borne atop strong stems from summer through to the first frost and provide the perfect focal point for any garden or vase.

We recommend planting Dahlia tubers, such as ‘Duet’, between March and June into fertile, well drained soil 15 cm deep and 60 cm apart. Position in a sunny location for maximum flowering and impact.

After planting, water in well and monitor during the Summer months. Aim for one good soak once a week to the base of the plant.

Growing up to 125 cm this variety may need staking for support during the flowering season. Use an all-purpose general plant feed for bigger and brighter blooms. Deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers through till first frosts. Cut back to near ground level in the autumn, before lifting and storing for the winter.
