Dahlia Decorative ‘Caribbean Fantasy’ is a distinctive and stunning dahlia variety that is sure to make a bold statement in any border or flower bed. Appearing from July through to September, the flowers consist of large, fully double white petals that fade to yellow towards the heart and are splattered with streaks of deep red. These blooms grow up to 20cm in diameter and are held on strong stems, making them perfect for cutting and displaying in vases.

To plant the ‘Caribbean Fantasy’ tuber, choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil and dig a hole deep enough to cover the tuber. Plant the tuber with the “eye” (the pointy end) facing upwards and backfill with soil. Water well and keep the soil consistently moist until the plant begins to shoot. Once the plant is established, it will need regular watering and feeding to keep it healthy and encourage more blooms.

This dahlia is a hardy perennial that will come back year after year with the correct care. As the plant grows, it may need staking to support the heavy blooms. To prolong the blooming period, deadhead the spent flowers and remove any diseased or damaged foliage.

Overall, the ‘Caribbean Fantasy’ dahlia is a beautiful and low-maintenance plant that will add a tropical touch to any garden. Its vibrant blooms are sure to attract attention and make a lasting impression. With its easy-to-grow nature and long-lasting blooms, it’s a great choice for both experienced and novice gardeners.
