Dahlia Decorative ‘Cambridge’ is a spectacular ornamental plant with fully double yellow blooms that are speckled with spots and streaks of red and can reach up to 20cm/8″ in diameter. It can grow up to 4 feet tall and is suitable for gardens of all sizes.

To plant your ‘Cambridge’ dahlia tuber, it is best to start it indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Once the frost has passed, you can transplant it to a sunny spot in your garden. The soil should be well-draining and fertile. Water the plant regularly and deadhead the spent blooms to encourage reblooming.

It is great as a cut flower due to its long vase life and makes a beautiful addition to any bouquet. The ‘Cambridge’ dahlia is also a great flower to dry, so you can enjoy it long after the blooming season is over.

In the fall, when the first frost hits, it’s time to dig up the tubers, clean them, and store them in a dry, cool place until the planting season comes around again. With proper care, it will return year after year, providing a stunning display of colour in your garden.
